Who we are

My name is Ronnie Lee and I am the owner of Lee Custom Shop. My interest in custom automobiles gave me the desire to pursue and obtain professional training in paint finish for both metal and wood. The training I’ve received was from PPG Training Center, Carroll Technical College, and General Motors Training Center. I worked for a GM Chevrolet Automotive Refinish / Collision Center and an authorized PPG finish supplier for 10 years. I’ve taken this experience and training and utilized it to customize my second interest which is music gear (guitars, guitar amplifiers, and pedal boards).

Why we are here

In 2004 I decided to use my professional painting skills to finish my personal Pedaltrain pedal board in a color that would match my guitar amp. As a member of a rock band that played numerous venues I received many compliments as well as questions of where I had purchased a surf green Pedaltrain rather than the typical flat black. I also used my skills to begin to relic guitars. As time passed by, I received so many questions about the pedal board and my relic guitar as well as requests to finish other people’s boards and guitars I decided to start Lee Custom Shop. I knew that Lee Custom Shop could do 2 things. Lee Custom Shop could provide quality work at an affordable price on guitars and Pedaltrain pedal boards as well as be the sole company that offered the well known Pedaltrain pedal board in custom colors.


Our Vision

Our vision at Lee Custom Shop is to provide the best quality finish and work to the Pedaltrain pedal board as well as the finish applied to any guitars that are finished by Lee Custom Shop. We want to continue to strive for excellence in both our workmanship as well as our customer satisfaction. We want to always make sure that we communicate with the customer in the quickest timely manner possible and always make sure that the customer’s questions are answered. We will continue to look for new ideas to offer the customer when it comes to customizing a guitar and the Pedaltrain. “We finish all of the guitars and pedal boards as if they were our own”.
